Get Rid of Bags! — break those old habits that are causing your eyes to age!

We all know that adulting means we can’t always get a full 8 to 9 hours of sleep every night. On top of stress, makeup wear, genetics, etc. We all want to stay looking as young as possible so that means changing up a bit of your daily routine that you probably didn’t know affected your appearance. Lets learn how to break a few beauty habits that may be aging your eyes.

  1. We all know how important it is to remove your makeup every night. And some of those tricky eyeshadows or high end mascara’s may be a pain to completely remove which causes us to scrub our eyes clean. By doing this you’re tugging and damaging under eye skin which causes broken capillaries and dark circles. Try using an oil based cleanser to prevent rubbing your eyes and to gently remove any makeup.

  2. EYE CREAM! Many of us don’t use an eye cream but it is very recommended because the skin around your eyes is the thinnest layer of skin on your body! It’s important that we protect our eyes.

  3. Maybe you’re using the wrong eye cream. You should try consulting with your dermatologist on what will work best for your skin. You want to make sure you’re getting the best eye cream that works for what you need. Whether if you’re trying to get rid of fine lines, dark circles, puffiness, etc. Make sure you know what it is that needs to be concentrated on and read each product before buying.

  4. Once you found the right eye cream for you, make sure to apply it the right way! Try to avoid pulling the skin and gently pat the cream from inner to outer and let it sit long enough so that it’s fully absorbed into the skin!

Just by following these steps I guarantee that you’ll start to see a difference so knock out those old aging habits and watch your skin flourish!
